Pond Orthodontics was established in 1989 and strives to provide the highest quality of orthodontic and patient care in a fun-filled atmosphere. Dr. Liza Pond first obtained her B.A. in Spanish from the University of Michigan and later graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School. She received her Master’s degree in Orthodontics from St. Louis University.

She is board certified and a member of the Dayton Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association, the Ohio Orthodontics Association, the Great Lakes Orthodontics Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Pond has served on or is currently serving on the boards of the Vandalia Butler Foundation, Dayton Dental Society, Miami Valley School and Vandalia Rotary Club. She also periodically attends continuing education seminars to provide cutting-edge technology to all of her patients.

Liza's husband, Tim, is a graduate of The Ohio State University and a corporate pilot. They have two daughters, Lauren and Taylor, two dogs and a cat. Dr. Pond's hobbies include hiking, snow skiing, scuba diving, aviation, Zumba and, above all, spending time with her family.
